This event by Society of Cocktails had two outings - the first was a self-funded research and development phase shown in Brighton to an exclusive audience; the second was a promenading theatrical one commission by ArtHouse Jersey and took place at the Greve de Lecq Barracks.
It centred around the fictional character of the Aurelian (a mysterious, morphing, moth-obsessed man) and his attempts to 'recruit' others for his somewhat suspect lepidopterous plans.
The audiences had the chance to encounter, variously, moth traps flooded with UV light, forest clearings to gather around, dingy basement dwellings to sit in, silk moth cocoons to drink from, biscuit tins holding precious moth projections to carry and care for, matchboxes to find, cajoling voices in their heads, killing jars with choices to make.
